The Wedding Day- From the Ministers Perspective
Life is about to change forever for two very special people. How do I share with them a message that will encourage them, honor them, and possibly equip them for the journey they are on? This wedding is not about me as the pastor, how wonderful my teaching might be, or if my words can bring the audience to tears. This day is about me as the pastor finding a way to highlight the bride and groom’s special individual qualities and celebrate their love for each other. This day is about me using my words to create a frame that will display the amazing gift of love and commitment shared between the bride and groom. This day is to prepare these two people who have found each other for the great adventure that we call marriage.
Kristopher Dahir is a pastor that has been married to his lovely bride for over 18 years and has two wonderful teenage children. He is the senior pastor at Freedom Fellowship in the Spanish Springs area. He has walked with couples for over 15 years as they approach their marriage celebration and has equipped those who are married with the proper tools to enhance their relationship. He has performed weddings for Caesar’s Palace, Maverick Helicopter, D & R Hot Air Balloons, Circus Circus, Atlantis, Peppermill, and a myriad of other wedding venues. He has included in his ceremonies many of the different ceremonies (i.e. unity candle, sand ceremony), cultural ceremonies (i.e., coin exchange, lasso ceremony, jumping the broom), and is able to share a portion of the message in Spanish if desired. He is currently working with The Victorian House as their minister and would be honored to have the opportunity to create that frame that will allow your love to be displayed for all of your guests to see.
