We recently had the pleasure of visiting
Twenty Mile House, a beautiful historic location amidst the Northern California Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Built in 1854 as a stagecoach stop, the Twenty Mile House has been in operation as a train stop and now wedding venue since.
This venue is unique because it offers all inclusive packages with wedding venue, food, and guest lodging all contained on the 200 acre private estate. The main building is a larger home with a full kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. There are also 3 more intimate cabins on the property perfect for the bride to get ready in or your wedding night.
Because the property is so spacious, there are many ceremony and reception options. They vary from a paved patio and dance floor outside the historic general store to a riverside ceremony and dinner on the grass. The property owners are happy to work in just about any space you would like. The property also provides a myriad of breathtaking scenic photo spots throughout.
In addition to being a beautiful historic wedding venue with all inclusive options, Twenty Mile House is also eco friendly. They are a Green America Approved Business and a Carbon Free Partner with Carbonfund.org.
There really is no other location like the Twenty Mile House with it's roots in history, beautiful wedding spaces, and ease of being all inclusive. Contact Kevin for more information or a site tour.
